Mark Twain 2026 Homecoming Parade

The streets of Center were filled with excitement and school spirit as the Mark Twain 2026 Homecoming Parade made its way through town on Sept. 16.

Residents lined the parade route to enjoy the annual tradition, which featured participation from several local businesses, community organizations, and area emergency departments. Children of all ages could be seen riding on floats, truck beds, trailers, and decorated vehicles as they celebrated Homecoming Week.

Mark Twain students proudly represented their classes, with each class creating and displaying a float, except for the freshman class. The colorful entries showcased creativity, school pride, and the enthusiasm that makes Homecoming a special event for students and the community alike.

The parade provided an opportunity for local businesses and organizations to connect with residents while showing their support for Mark Twain R-I School District. Emergency responders also participated, greeting parade-goers and helping make the event a memorable experience for families.

The annual Homecoming Parade continues to be a highlight of the fall season in Center, bringing together students, families, businesses, and community members in a celebration of school spirit and hometown pride.
