Eagles at Mark Twain Lake

January 28, 2019

By Robin Gregg

It’s extremely weird this year how the Eagles are staying in our area with the bitter cold and winter weather we are having. I’ve seen Eagles almost every road trip I’ve taken over the last year all over our county and neighboring counties. I have some friends that live near the Salt River and have been watching them fly up and down the river. Their long wide spread wings are beautiful gliding through the air. My Dad use to collect Eagles and loved watching them in their habitat. Since his passing last May, I’ve taken a new appreciation of these wonderful and beautiful creatures!
