Mark Twain’s First Annual Band Festival this Saturday
Mark Twain will be hosting the 1st Annual Band Festival this Saturday, October 3rd. The parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Center Baptist Church and run north on Public Street. The judge’s station will be near the bank, so if spectators sit there, or in general around or across the locker, they'll be able to hear well.
After the parade competition, the bands will go to the school for the guard/percussion/field shows. The fee to get in will be $5 for adults, $3 for kids. Concessions going all day. There will be signs/kids/parents telling everyone where to park. Director of Bands, Mr. Schaffer and the students are excited to host this event. A schedule for the day is included below. *Due to COVID19 all activities will take place outside, no events will be held in the buildings.
