Hannibal, MO – The Beth Haven Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Kerri Lauterbach as the new Chief Executive Officer. Kerri previously served as the Service Coordinator at Beth Haven, so she is very familiar with the Beth Haven retirement community.

After an extensive search, Kerri was chosen for the position because she is a dedicated, hardworking leader. She cares deeply about serving others and is committed to providing the best service possible. Kerri has a passion for Beth Haven and is excited about the opportunity to return in her new role as CEO. Kerri, who lives in Hannibal, currently works as the Administrator at Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green.

Kerri is committed to working with staff, residents, and the community to build on the strengths and tradition of Beth Haven. She has expressed a desire to work with all stakeholders to identify how we can meet current and future needs of those living at Beth Haven as well as individuals in Hannibal and surrounding communities.

Kerri will begin her employment at Beth Haven on Monday, September 21. Paul Ewert’s last day will be Friday, September 25. He and Kerri will work closely together during the week of overlap to ensure a smooth transition.

“We congratulate Paul Ewert on his retirement, and we’re proud to welcome Kerri back to Beth Haven,” states Board Chair Phil Smith. “She understands our culture and how we care about our families. We believe with Kerri’s leadership the organization will continue to thrive and grow.”

Established in 1957 by the Hannibal Mennonite Church with a small care facility, Beth Haven has grown into Northeast Missouri’s #1 long-term care and retirement community. Beth Haven continues as a faith based, local, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to meeting the individual needs of everyone within the community and also the overall needs of the citizens of Hannibal.
