ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATIONS TO STUDENTS (JHCD)

Policy JHCD includes definitions, general information, over-the-counter medications, prescription medications, possession and self-administration of medication, emergency medication, and consequences.

ONLY SEND ONE MONTH’S SUPPLY OF MEDICATION AT ONE TIME. A parent must pick up any remaining medication at the end of the school year, or it will be disposed of by school personnel. Parents/guardians may retrieve medication from school at any time.
