Free online guide to Veterans benefits opens to Ralls County Veterans on Veterans Day

November 06, 2026

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS, October 2026. Casey Rose, a service-disabled, combatdeployed Veteran, has built a free guide that gives Veterans turn-by-turn directions
through the process of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Veteran Benefits
GPS™ opens to every Veteran in Ralls County and across the country on Veterans
Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2026.
Opening time is 11:11 a.m. Eastern Time. The address is vbgps.org.
On September 18, a Google search for "va benefits where do i start" returned about
643,000,000 results. That is what a Veteran in Paris or anywhere else gets for asking
where to start.
How it works. A Veteran, or a spouse, caregiver or friend helping one, does three
things.
1. Answers two or three short questions.
2. Sees the official VA.gov page for that situation and the form number where a form
applies.
3. Finds free help from an accredited Veterans Service Organization (VSO)
representative.
Ten benefit areas sit on one map, and state and local benefits sit on the same map as
federal ones. For a Veteran in Ralls County, every stop starts at an official VA.gov page
or at the Veteran's own state or territory government site.
Veterans can use it on a phone with nothing to install.
No login is required. The tool never asks for a name, a file number or a disability rating,
and it uses no artificial intelligence.
What it is not. Veteran Benefits GPS™ is navigation only and is not affiliated with the
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The tool links only to official VA.gov pages, a
Veteran's own state or territory government site, and accredited VSO representatives. It
never files a claim and never gives legal advice.
The guide is free to every Veteran, and it always will be. Veteran Benefits GPS™ is a
for-profit Illinois company, and no Veteran ever pays. Businesses sponsor it, and people
who choose to support it help pay for it.
"VA.gov is the official source, and I am not trying to replace it," said Casey Rose, the
founder. "The official pages are the destination. This is the map. I would rather send a
Veteran to a VSO ten times too early than once too late."
