Temporary Lane/Overlook Closure at Clarence Cannon Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mark Twain Lake Project Office has 
announced a temporary closure of the Warren G. See Spillway Overlook, along with single-lane traffic 
on State Highway J at Clarence Cannon Dam. The closure is necessary to allow crews to conduct 
utility inspections and repairs, as well as roadway and dam maintenance. 
Work is scheduled to begin during the week of March 9 and continue through the week of June 8. 
Visitors and motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time during this period.
