Call Special Attention to Women in The Fire Service

According to the Missouri Division of Fire Safety, March 26 marks Fire Fighters Day 2024 as the Missouri Capitol called attention to the women of Missouri's fire service during this Women's History Month.

Fenton Fire Protection District Fire Chief Ramona Kaminski, President of Missouri Women in Fire, delivered an inspirational message.

Thanks also to Governor Mike Parson, who proclaimed March 26 as Fire Fighters Day in Missouri. State Fire Marshal Tim Bean recognized the Governor with a special helmet shield to commemorate his support for the fire service throughout his tenure in office.
