Monroe County Cancellations/Postponements Due to CoronaVirus Precautions

If you have an event cancellation please email Robin at robingregg@monroecountyappeal.com and the Appeal will get the news out for you. Please take PRECAUTIONARY measures for everyone's health involved.

We use our event calendar to inform our readers of events, just as the same as cancellations/postponements!

As of now:

-Paris Aggie Days and FFA State Convention is postponed

-Monroe County Historical Society is canceling all currently scheduled events (Game Night and March regular meeting)

-All face to face MU Extension programming has been suspended through May 15

- Spring Dinner Theater at the Madison Community Center on March 28 has been canceled.

-Madison City Hall has closed the lobby for face to face contact. They will be in the office to take phone calls

-Madison C-3 School is out of session March 17-April 3

-Monroe City High School Winter Sports Banquet scheduled for Tuesday night has been postponed until further notice.

-All Monroe City School outside key cards, no exceptions, we be disengaged until further notice. Any outside groups that have reserved gym time will not be allowed into the gym until further notice, no exceptions.

- Paris High School Winter Sports Banquet Tuesday March 17th has been postponed until further notice

- ‪All Monroe City college signings scheduled for this week are being postponed until further notice
-All Madison after school activities, practices, and extracurricular events have been suspended from March 16th to April 5th. Will work to reschedule events if possible depending on our revised school calendar and MSHSAA guidelines/mandates

-Monroe City Middle School Dance scheduled for this Thursday, March 19th has been cancelled

-Monroe City 7/8 Kroc Center trip scheduled for March 23rd has been postponed with no make-up date determined yet

-Madison Prom has been rescheduled for April 18th

-Miss Paris is cancelled
