Local Farms Offer Better Alternatives than Stores

Melanie Webb posted on the Paris Community Board for all businesses/farms that have meat, eggs, milk etc. right now to help from going to the larger stores to share what they have to offer. I loved the idea, so I am using what she gathered as well as what I received in Ralls County.

MONROE COUNTY

-T&S Butcher Shop has all types of meat. North of Paris to Rt F. First gravel on the left. Can't miss it. Big blue building on the hill.

-Little Cluck Farms has farm eggs here for $2.00 a dozen!

-Heartsong Family Farms has fresh pork retail cuts and angus freezer beef available. Quarter, half and whole beef. Orders can be placed on our website www.hopewellfarmsangus.com

-Nikki Bassler Fresh eggs duck 5/dozen and chicken 2/dozen (can deliver nearby)

-Ray Herefords southeast of Paris has home raised beef available as 1/4, 1/2 or whole steers as well as various cuts of beef!

-Geist's Indian creek raised- free range brown eggs are available at Charlotte's Tree on Main Street, or can be delivered in town by calling 573-881-7666.

RALLS COUNTY

-Stephanie Miller: Miller farms between New London and Center. We have goats' milk, eggs, and meat when time is right. Message Brent Miller or myself for pricing on Facebook!! Will also have a big garden this year in hopes to have a Sunday pick day for x amount of money a basket
