Veterans Promise Ride

April 12, 2019

On Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Paris Fairgrounds 4-H Building, plan to attend a meet and greet with Veterans making their way (by horse and wagon) through the state of Missouri to Colorado Springs.

Help a Vietnam Veteran keep a foxhole promise to a fallen vet and to raise awareness for dogs that help and service dogs for disabled veterans and first responders.

According to the facebook event comments, Katie Baker will be cooking hot dogs, serving drinks and cake! This won’t last long, so get there early and stay late. All proceeds from the cookout will go to “Dogs That Help”.

This is a great opportunity for our community to get together to help veterans with PTSD! Come down to the Paris fairgrounds to meet Luke, Connie, Mr. Blaylock and Brian and the horses they rode in on.

All money donated to them goes straight to veterans needing service dogs! If you are unable to meet the guys you can donate to dogsthathelp.org
