52nd Annual Mark Twain Old Threshers

The 52nd Annual Mark Twain Old Threshers’ Show will take place July 8-10, 2021 at the Paris, MO Fairgrounds.

The show will feature John Deere Tractor, Chevrolet Automobile, and John Deere Gas Engine All Makes and Models are welcome!

We will be hosting the Vintage Green Club of Missouri

There will be a Flea Market, Rope Making, Antique Farming Operations, Early Day Gas Engines and Farm Tractors, and Saw and Shingle Mill Operations.

On Thursday, July 8, Biscuits and Gravy and Cinnamon Rolls will be served from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
Registration for Tractor Cruise starts at 8:00 A.M. and they will leave the Fairgrounds at 9:00 A.M. Bill Griffin, Chairman can be reached at 573-721-3691.

The Fish Fry will begin at 5:30 P.M. and continue until the food runs out! $10 a plate and $5 for 6 and under will get you lots of good eating! The fish will be cooked by the Madison West Monroe Fire Protection District. There will be musical entertainment by Kelly Stanford.

On Friday, July 9, breakfast will again be served from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.

The Baby Show will begin at 6:00 P.M. It is open to all babies and they do not have to be Monroe County residents. A button will be required for accompanying adults. Registration will begin at 5:00 P.M. Boys and Girls Divisions are: 0-6 months, 7-12 months, 13-18 months, 19-24 months, and 25-35 months. There will be an Overall Grand Champion and Lil’ Mr. and Miss Contest Ages 3-5

Tractor Games will be held at 6:00 P.M.

There will be a Miniature Draft/Pony Pull at 6:30 P.M. with Weigh-In at 3:30 P.M. It will be held at the south end in the Arena

Breakfast will again be served from 7:00 A.M. to 9: A.M. on Saturday, July 10.

The Parade will start at 10:00 A.M. with Line Up behind the Grandstands at 9:00 A.M.

The Jack Beamer Memorial Antique Car and Truck Show will be held after the Parade from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. under the Shelter. Parking and Registration will be on West Side of the Fairgrounds. Vehicles must be 25 years or older

The Larry Parrott Memorial Washers Tournament will start at 2:00 P.M. under the New Pavilion (South end)

The Richard Mills Memorial Antique Classic Tractor Pull Registration will start at 2:00 P.M. and will be begin around 3:00 P.M. The chairman is Mark Sprock 573-470-5389

The Ed Schulte Memorial Tractor Show will begin at 3:00 P.M. There will be a Best Restored Tractor Presentation.

New this year will be Draft Horse Games starting at 5:00 P.M. These will include Log Skid, Feed Team Race, Obstacle Course, and Gambler’s Choice

Also new this year will be Show Me Dulcimer Club performances throughout the day!

Come enjoy some really good music!

The Clay Clear Band will again wind up the evening starting at 8:00 P.M.

There will be no need to be hungry as the Mark Twain Old Threshers’ Food Booth will be serving Brisket and BBQ Pork Steak Meals, Hamburgers, Brats, Hot Dogs, and Walking Tacos. Cold Soda Pop, Tea, Bottled Water, Gatorade, Lemonade, and bags of ice will also be available.

A $5.00 Admission Button will be good for all shows and events. 12 years and under will be admitted Free with an Adult. 16 and Under must have parental supervision. Program Books will be available.

The speed limit on the Grounds is 5mph and there is a $5.00 fee for ALL personal transportation vehicles. They must be registered at Headquarters Tent and display assigned numbers at all times. No ATVs allowed and you must be 16 or older to drive any transportation vehicle.

Not responsible for accidents, injuries, or theft.

No Fireworks, Water Pistols, Dart Guns, Marshmallow Guns, or Ball Games of any type allowed!

Camping is available for the weekend and includes electrical hookups.
