Winds of Faith

The Increase of the Field
The word says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Sometimes we get it in our head that faith only works in the four walls of the church house. However, it only takes a short trip to the store or your neighbors to realize that the harvest, and the increase there in, is in the field.
I ran across a big rock in the field as I was working the harvest, the rock of unforgiveness. You know,

that big one we been going around for years. That one you thought you got picked up and thrown out

last season but here he is again. Now most of us can handle a forgiveness rock pretty good, as we can forgive others their trespasses against us, but it's when we turn that forgiveness rock over to the forgiving of ourselves that we get into trouble. So, here's the thought for today's Winds of Faith: If you have been trying to forgive yourself of something and can’t ever seem to get it done, just maybe that aint up, (as in is not) up to you. Forgive those who trespass against you, but if you can forgive yourself, what do you need Jesus for? Ever think that that's why you can’t ever seem to get it done? You can forgive others who trespass against you but only Jesus can forgive you. That's not yours to carry. There is the bottom side of the big rock (unforgiveness), that many stumble over as they say, “I know Jesus can forgive me but I just can’t forgive myself.

Question & thought - Is that really up to you. Ask, Seek and Knock
