 GENERAL “WALK-IN” CLINICS

Clinic will include immunizations, blood pressures, blood draws, and other health services.

LOCATIONS:

Monroe City Senior Nutrition Center from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays in February, on February 7 & 21, 2019.

Monroe County Health Department in Paris from 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. on Mondays, February 4, 11, & 25, 2019.

Blood pressure clinic at Paris Nutrition Center from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019.

 ENVIRONMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH SPECIALIST

The Environmental Public Health Specialist is available by appointment. Call the health department at 660-327-4653 for further information or to make an appointment.

 WOMENS WELLNESS/FAMILY PLANNING CLINIC

Clinic offers women of reproductive age cervical and breast screenings, STD

testing, and methods of birth control. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Clinics are held 6-8 times each year, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please call for an appointment on the next clinic date, February 28, 2019.

 WIC

Pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5 qualify. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call for an appointment.

Monroe City Christian Church, 214 Court Street, Monroe City, MO, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, and Tuesday, February 26, 2019.

Monroe County Health Department, 310 North Market Street, Paris, MO, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, and Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

 FLU SEASON

Flu and both pneumonia vaccines are still available. Stop in the health department for your shots on Monday mornings, or anytime that a nurse is available. Medicare and Medicaid accepted.

The Monroe County Health Department will be

closed on Monday, February 18, 2019,

in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Monroe County Health Department provides services in the home for the homebound patients. The objective of this program is to enable patients who do not require full-time nursing care to remain in their own homes. Care is given under the direction of a physician. Services include skilled nursing care, personal care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Medicare, Medicaid, and many other commercial health insurance plans cover services.
