2019 Monroe County Officials Sworn In

The swearing in ceremony for the 2019 officials of Monroe County was held at 10 a.m. Monday, December the 31st in the rotunda of the courthouse, that was overflowing with friends and family there to watch the ceremony.
County Clerk Christina Buie was sworn in by Judge Michael Wilson first so she could carry out the swearing in ceremony. After being sworn in Christina swore in Associate Circuit Judge Michael Pleas Wilson, Presiding Commissioner Mike Minor, Circuit Clerk Heather Wheeler, Recorder of Deeds Lori Decker, County Treasurer Shelia Jurgesmeyer, Prosecuting Attorney Talley Kendrick and Collector of Revenue Chrissy Graupman.
Christina introduced the three women who were retiring and called them to the front to be recognized for the years of service they have given to the people of Monroe County, she presented each with a plaque and flowers. Mary Sue Meals, Recorder of Deeds, Rita Wilkerson, County Treasurer, and Anita Dunkle, Collector of Revenue.
