NEMO TASK FORCE ANNOUNCES RECENT DRUG ARREST

After approximately a three month long drug investigation, the Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task

Force received and executed a search warrant on Thursday, August 30, 2018, for the residence

located at #9 Sycamore Lane, Monroe City, Monroe County, Missouri. During the search warrant,

methamphetamine, marijuana prescription pills and drug paraphernalia were found and seized as

evidence. Three individuals were arrested at the residence.

Individuals arrested at #9 Sycamore Lane included Michael Vaupel, Billi Fahnstrom and Abigail

DeYoung. They were all placed on a 24 hour hold.

The Task Force was assisted by the Monroe City Police Department and the Monroe County

Sheriff’s Department.

Fahnstrom and DeYoung are currently incarcerated at the Marion County Jail in Palmyra and

Vaupel is currently incarcerated at the Monroe County Jail in Paris.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Michael Vaupel: white male; DOB: 10-05-89; #9 Sycamore Lane, Monroe City, MO;

Arrested for: possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent

to distribute, possession of marijuana under 35 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia

Billi Fahnstrom: white female; DOB: 01-17-92; #9 Sycamore Lane, Monroe City, MO;

Arrested for: possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent

to distribute, possession of marijuana under 35 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Abigail DeYoung: white female; DOB: 10-21-97;

Arrested for: possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana under 35 grams,

possession of drug paraphernalia.
