Monroe County Judge Michael P. Wilson attended the 2018 Judicial College Aug 14 – 17 at the Lodge of Four Season, Lake Ozark, Missouri.

The Judicial College, sponsored by the State Trial Judge Education Committee, is held annually to keep all Missouri associate and circuit judges current in all matters that pertain to the proper performance of their duties.

The 2018 agenda included criminal, civil and juvenile case law updates, changes in jury instructions, special probate problems, the responsibility of judges to identify impaired lawyers, domestic issues (to include property division, spousal maintenance, and child custody, visitation and support), and the utilization of senior judges in Missouri courts.

Judge Wilson is in his third term as Monroe County associate circuit judge and is seeking reelection in the Nov 6 2018 general election.
