Drive-Thru Hiring Event to Be Held

Local companies are hiring, and Moberly Area Community College, the Hannibal Job Center, NEMO Workforce Development Board, Hannibal Regional Economic Development, and Hannibal Chamber of Commerce are hosting a drive-thru hiring event at Moberly Area Community College on Shinn Lane in Hannibal MO. Job seekers will receive information on job opportunities, company culture, and the application process of each participating company.

This first-ever drive-thru hiring event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020. This is a no-contact event. Job seekers will drive in the College Entrance, pick up their packet, and Exit without having to leave the comfort of their car.

The Job Seeker will review the information that will contain current job openings and information about the company, along with instructions on how to apply for a job. After the application is received, qualified applicants will be contacted by the employer.

The Job Seekers will also receive information regarding area resources, such as financial assistance for tuition and or training, community agencies that offer services such as food, housing, clothing, medical, and utility assistance.

As an added feature, Hannibal Regional Hospital is offering flu shots as you drive-thru. If anyone is interested, they will need to either present their insurance card or pay $25.00.
